Jerry Tadlock

Jerry Tadlock is Pastor of Gatherings at City Pointe Church in Plant City, Florida. He has served in church ministry since 2007 across a wide range of contexts — from church plants to nationally the top 100 fastest-growing churches in America.

He earned a certificate in Youth Ministry from the Youth Ministry Institute, a Bachelor's degree from Southeastern University, and a Master's degree in Biblical Languages from Liberty University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Biblical Exposition at Liberty University.

Jerry's heart is at the intersection of the academic and the pastoral — he believes the deepest theology should produce the most practical Christ-shaped living. At City Pointe, he oversees the  Biblical Literacy classes, and helps lead the church's vision for discipleship through The Grove community and the Practicing the Way curriculum.

He is married with two teenage children. His wife works and teaches at Southeastern University. The Tadlock family lives in the Lakeland area.
