January is off to a great start at City Pointe Church, with opportunities to grow and connect, including the return of Kids Ministry programming, Week 2 of the Flesh & Blood series on Communion, and tonight’s Seek First night of worship at 6:30 PM. This Saturday, we’ll serve our community through Share the Table at 4:30 PM, and we invite you to join our Membership Class on Sunday, January 26th, as we continue living into our 2025 theme: Becoming a Community of Refinement.
Dear City Pointe Family,
We are off to a great start in 2025, and we’re so excited to continue this journey together! We loved gathering for our Family Worship Gathering last weekend, and it was such a powerful reminder of the unity and joy we share as the body of Christ. As we move into the second week of January, we have even more opportunities to grow, worship, and serve as a community.
Here’s what’s coming up this week at City Pointe:
Normal Kids Ministry Programming Resumes
This week, we’re resuming our regular kids ministry programming. We can’t wait to welcome back our children for a time of growth and fun as they dive into the Word together in theater 7! We also want to thank everyone who joined us for the Family Worship Gathering—it’s always such a blessing to come together as one big family.
January Series: Flesh & Blood – Week 2
We’re diving into week 2 of our Flesh & Blood: A Study on Worship series, where we’re exploring the deep significance of Communion. This Sunday, we’ll be focusing on Jesus’ Bread of Life discourse from the Gospel of John, and how He is the sustainer of our lives. We’re excited to continue growing in understanding together as we explore this powerful teaching.
Seek First – Night of Worship
Don’t miss our special Seek First night of worship tonight! We’ll come together to lift up our hearts and seek God’s presence in a powerful time of prayer and worship.

Share the Table
This Saturday, we have the opportunity to serve our community through Share the Table. We’ll be feeding and clothing those in need, showing the love of Christ to those who are hurting.

Time: 4:30 PM
Donation Details: We are collecting adult men’s and women’s clothing. If you have items to donate, please bring them this Wednesday (January 8th) to help those in need.
